about

‘Stay Connected’ is made up of eleven songs that are layered with dreamy textures, synths, slide and saxophones. Lead singles “Velvet Paradise” and “Mirror” boast nostalgic-pop moments, while single “I Fed The Horse” and album track “Bones” offer a darker, more contemplative experience. Overall it is a thought-provoking record that tells tales from a range of perspectives, from intimate and personal recollections to broader musings, but all poking at the same thing - connection.

about

Broads Melbourne, Australia

Melbourne queens of indie-noir Kelly Day and Jane Hendry are Broads. Haunting, narcotic and deceptively sweet, their songs are laced with acerbic criticism of the culture from which they stem.

‘If we die tomorrow, we die better for having had Day and Hendry sing to us’
(The Metal Dad)

"hauntingly beautiful, perfectly soothing"
